There are experiences in a high school student’s career that literally last a lifetime. SGHS Theatre is a vibrant program for students and is often their conduit to college and future careers. Students in the theatre program here at San Gabriel have the unique opportunity to become storytellers for the community. This year, we have tackled themes such as displacement, identity, and the search for home. 

We are continuing our theme of community with this year’s production of “In the Heights” by Lin Manuel Miranda! "In the Heights" is celebrated for its authentic and positive portrayal of the Latino community, providing a platform for voices that are often underrepresented in mainstream media. It serves as a source of pride, inspiration, and connection for many. 

Through your donations, we will be able to provide an equity night that will allow all community members to attend a “pay what you can performance” on April 13 in order to make theatre accessible for all!
